The Danish company ‘Baron’ has bought our very first invention, Smart//Mover, which gives the product an even bigger platform to succeed from. Nearly a decade ago Lolle & Nielsen Inventions was founded around our very first invention: The battery-powered hand truck Smart//Mover. It was developed alongside our partner on the Island on Mors, and it has been a pleasure to see our product grow over the years reaching the milestone of the 1000th Smart//Mover being sold last year.
For the first time, we have been invited to be a part of a podcast - more specifically the Danish podcast "Under Hjelmene", which is broadcasted to more than 130 local radios in Denmark. Technical tools can be crucial to a healthy working environment but they have to be done right in order to be adapted and used by the workers. The podcast "Under Hjelmene" has taken a closer look at how tools are done successfully - and we are a part of the show. The show is taking a closer l
Our first big invention was the battery powered hand truck Smart//Mover, that has radically improved the working environment for bricklayers since its birth 7 years ago. And we have just celebrated Smart//Mover #1000 getting delivered to Erhvervsskolen Nordsjælland. Today Smart//Mover has become a successful tool that is embraced by the industry, but it wasn't always like that. The first year 9 Smart//Movers were sold, and 13 units the year after. But thankfully we and our p
We just returned from the Byggeri'18 Conference, and it was - as always - a pleasure to meet the whole industry. This year we were especially thrilled to launch Upclimber after years of development, and it was just amazing to see how well it was received. So many people have visited us and we made the first sells during the conference! Andreas demonstrating Upclimber at the conference. Smart//Mover also visited the conference and even made it to their official newsletter: The
Next week we'll attend the bi-yearly conference for the construction industry Byggeri'18, which is the biggest of its kind in Denmark. We'll be there 13.-16. March, and for the first time we'll be representing two of our products at the same time: Smart//Mover and Upclimber. It will be Smart//Movers third time at the conference, but for Upclimber it's the first public appearance - we can't wait to hear what you think! Come and say hi at the Smart//Mover booth or at Global Lif
Without a grant from the public foundation "Forebyggelsesfonden", our SmartMover wouldn't have been helping out 400 workers everyday. Now the foundation has closed, and we're super sad to see it go Since our humble beginning in 2010 we've received multiple grants from the public foundation Forebyggelsesfonden to develop some of our tools. The foundation started with 3 billion DKK in 2007, and the goal was to keep workers from tough industries on the labor market and prevent t
In the first post we promised to keep the egocentric content to a bare minimum. But first things first, so let's introduce ourselves: Today Lolle & Nielsen Inventions is essentially a company who invents stuff. To name a few we've made moving 250 kg bricks easy with our motorized SmartMover. We've made our own workspace more dynamic and healthy with OPLØFT. And we've made installing windows fast with UPCLIMBER. All by getting our team of bright engineers in touch with bright
