Beside cabinet designed for cleaning and patient empowerment

In a project funded by Markedsmodningsfonden Lolle & Nielsen Inventions were primary drivers of the product development and project leader in a project consortium that among others included Herlev Hospital, Bispebjerg and Aalborg Universitetshospital.

The project mission was to develop a bedside cabinet designed for cleaning and designed for patient empowerment.  The project had a strong user-oriented approach and the development included application of NFC technology for a locking system that allows easy access and safe storage of valuables.

Also, complex moulding technology was used to make the cabinet without sharp edges where dirt would otherwise get stock and a minimum of openings for the electronic system meaning that the whole cabinet can be sealed for automatic tunnel washing.
